A built engine is by far the single biggest $ item that you pay for when building these cars. A stock motor can be had for $1000 vs. a totally built one for near $10,000, so thats the basis of my statement. Also, mileage is irrelevant. Do you think the insurance company cares about that at all? If you do you are incorrect. Obviously, your insurance cost is based upon replacement cost of parts/etc. When the cars get into an accident how does mileage come into play? They will either have to repair/replace items or not, regardless of mileage, and thus its irrelevant. I think your figures are a bit off. I could buy all of the parts listed in your profile for "high" retail and it would be nowhere near $20K. Keep laughinhg I guess.... Do you find it odd that Harry (Ztuner), who commented below, has more $ into his car but yet they won't do $18K worth of coverage for him? Hmmmm......
